How to solve the USB device not recognized problem in Windows

By laptopsbattery - July 28th, 2010, 21:14, Category: General

When we install the USB Flash disk into my laptop, sometimes the windows may notice : 'USB device not found ". What should I do ? As the laptop I/O interface (port) are USB port. When the "USB device not found" we can not connect the mouse, keyboard, camera, phone and printer to our Dell Inspiron 6400 battery laptop! You can see the detail info below:

So I started with the usual methods to repair it, including uninstalling the drivers for my devices and reinstalling them. This usually can solve the problem (sometime the " USB device not found " problem caused by the disc not plug in steady), but now it did not work! Then I tried to reboot the laptop to make the system to recognize the USB drivers. It did not work!

Then I asked the problem in Yahoo answer about this problem, Some one from http://www.battery4.us kindly answered my problem. Then I try his ways to solved the problem (USB driver can not work in the system). So I open the Device Manager, and uninstall all devices under USB controllers. Then reboot the Latitude D620 battery laptop, install the USB drivers, but the problem also be there !

You can do it in Device Manager that the device is listed as " unknown device to see. "

So, how do I finally solved the problem? Well, apparently is a super easy solution! No need to edit the registry, uninstall the driver, or something like that.

Just disconnect your Dell Inspiron 6400 battery laptop from the wall outlet. Yes it is! Note that this does not stop just because its newer computers do not really stop when you press the power button, while the motherboard is still power.

Explain first, the Inspiron E1505 battery motherboard is where all computer hardware is connected, is connected, including the USB. Sometimes the motherboard has to be "charged" too, because something can go wrong, that is, work d. All USB ports no more sudden. The small microchip on the motherboard will reload the drivers and USB ports back to should be to identify all devices!

First turn off your computer or press the power button and then the plug from the wall. Let stand for a minute and then close it again.

Hopes that help you.

iOS 4 improves the iPhone iPad battery life

By laptopsbattery - July 23rd, 2010, 16:46, Category: General

Apple made iOS 4 available on Monday, June 21. Apple kicked off an action-packed week today with the full release of iOS 4, its newest operating system for iPhone and iPod Touch devices. The download is free for both iPhone and iPod Touch users, but it is incompatible with first-generation models of either device. The Apple iPhone 3G will support most iOS 4 features except multitasking and home screen backgrounds.

Since the release of the Apple A1078 iOS 4.0 on June 21 last, many people had complained of the autonomy of their phone. Macworld U.S. has conducted a test involving the autonomy of 3G and 3G with firmware 3.1.3 and firmware 4. It was tested under different uses (games, surfing and 3G wireless, downloading a movie, telephone ...).

To see what difference iOS 4 made in terms of laptop battery life with iOS 3 on the iPhone 3GS we ran the same tests yet again. It turns out that downgrading an iPhone 3GS is no easy feat and our attempts at doing so failed on the iPhone 3GS phone at the Macworld office.

Here are the results obtained by the U.S. site:

As shown in both tables, the upgrade to Apple A1079 iOS 4.0 has caused a moderate increase in autonomy for the iPhone 3G and a substantial increase for the iPhone 3G. Indeed, the iPhone 3G takes 10 minutes more with the firmware 4.0 installed. The iPhone 3G takes him 35 minutes more.

And you, have you noticed such an increase in autonomy on your Apple iPhone Jobs?

Battery life of iPod is an important consideration to most iPod users. The laptop battery degrades over time and are not easily changed by users. That is true, to a point, as the lithium battery is based, although that can be recharged up to 500 times, it degrades over time.

Mean that the iPod Nano 8GB was designed to be a disposable device? No. Apple has designed the iPod Nano 8GB last long.

The battery life is only a few years, since it is based lithium also the 9Cell 6000mAh Apple Macbook Pro 13 inch battery life is only 13 months . This network of hundreds of users of the charges, however, at some point, the lithium battery will stop working. An iPod battery is not designed to replace users.

Apple Has Improved MBP Battery Life in last update

By laptopsbattery - July 12th, 2010, 15:35, Category: General

UPDATE: We've tried to understand the new Apple MacBook Pro battery life ratings compared to older models. It is difficult to quantify generational differences because Apple is being tested with a benchmark battery more difficult, while improving the efficiency of new machines via Penryn chips and LED backlighting. Is it a wash, then? Not really. We have just received the comparative figures from previous generations of computers and current Apple. They read as follows: MacBook and MacBook Pro have life 30-45 minutes longer than the previous generation using the same Wireless Web test. With LED backlighting, the numbers jump to one hour.

Note that the laptop LCD screen is not standard 17-inch LED-backlit, so it is not expressed in these forecasts. Finally, Apple is the most difficult test before being, as we saw in the air, the battery or put me in these machines will probably be even less. (The battery claims of previous generations were much higher because the old test was basically typing in a text editor with Wi-Fi off, which obviously inflated previous estimate of battery life beyond reason.)

Previously (and damped)
I just talked to Apple and find out why the numbers are lower new test, when in reality and real life all these models are higher. It has to do with their testing methodology. Instead of making the laptop battery life as the longest of three tests (a test DVD playback, a test of standard Wi-Fi usage and web browsing, and a trial is the absolute power saving mode does just text editing), Apple just reported half test, which approximates average usage much better than the other two. Previously, they had a number for the unlikely scenario that you want to be editing a text document while not connected to the Internet. If you ran the same tests on the three models, the newer laptops that actually rate higher than before, says Apple. Jason Chen -

Before this (and repaid):
The battery life of the new MacBook and MacBook Pro 17" battery has dropped dramatically in the new revision. After having been the interpreter of the battery of 5.75 hours, the 2.6GHz MacBook Pro 17" dropped to 4.5 hours. There are several explanations, but none of them can explain the change because the numbers do not add up:

The first is Apple's new life "wireless productivity battery. According to Apple, this measure of autonomy in the use of Wi-Fi standard Web browser pages, in collaboration with the mail and other Internet-related applications. It seems that if Apple is now much more cautious and rigorous in their testing of MacBook Pro 13 Battery performance. But what can explain the decrease does not seem as simple as that.

The MacBook Pro 15 battery life , for example, remains unchanged throughout the CPU speed even with the control method of the new battery. Apple sources indicate that the use of LED screen backlighting saves about 30 minutes of battery life. But is that enough to offset the decline against the battery life of the MacBook Pro 17 "

Batteries StayCharged - A new advance in battery recharge technology

By laptopsbattery - July 12th, 2010, 15:35, Category: General

Duracell StayCharged batteries are the new range of rechargeable laptop batteries. They are an important step in cellular energy technology. Standard rechargeable batteries suffer from one major flaw - once loaded, if not used immediately, they begin to lose power.

StayCharged batteries, however, uses the latest in battery technology to overcome this obstacle. The range StayCharged are unique in that it held 80% of its charge for up to one year when not in use. This added reliability means you can rest assured that you will still have an optimal performance of the Sony VGP-BPS2C batteries, even if they were charged a few months ago.

With the proliferation of sophisticated high drain devices modern electronics, such as digital cameras and MP3 players is more important than ever to ensure that your batteries deliver when most needed. There is nothing more frustrating than having the batteries fail unexpectedly.

One advantage of the range StayCharged is that you can keep as a spare set of batteries if your current setup is without pay, and not have to worry about backup battery as flat as they are replacing.

Because the standard rechargeable Sony VGP-BPS2 batteries lose their power over a relatively short period of time, are sold without charge, and he would lose his position anyway before they left the shelves. Because of its ability to hold a charge for such long periods, however, StayCharged batteries come pre-loaded and ready to use straight from the box.

Many users of rechargeable batteries are forced to use disposable batteries when their fail unexpectedly, because I have no time to load a new game. While cheaper in the short term, the cost of using disposables soon mounts up, while rechargables quickly amortized after just a few loads. StayCharged Sony VGP-BPS9/S batteries can be charged with a standard charger at home, so there is no need to invest in additional equipment to take advantage of this new sophisticated technology.

Duracell has a long history of innovation and technical advances in fuel cell industry, and the range StayCharged is another example of his experience in action. The combination of cost-effectiveness of rechargeable VGP-BPS9/B batteries with the convenience of disposables, StayCharged represents a major breakthrough in battery technology.

How to charge your New spare battery

By laptopsbattery - July 6th, 2010, 6:34, Category: General

When charging the laptop battery for the first time, the device may indicate that charging is complete after just 10 minutes or 15. This is a normal phenomenon with rechargeable batteries. Simply remove the battery from the computer and repeat the charging procedure.

Otherwise, can significantly reduce battery life (this does not apply to Li-ion which do not require conditioning). To download, simply run the device under battery power until it turns off or until it receives a low laptop battery warning. Then recharge the battery as described in the manual.

If you Dell inspiron 1420 battery will not be in use for a month or more, it is recommended that the device is removed and stored in a cool, dry and clean.

It is normal for the Inspiron E1505 battery to become warm during charging and discharging.

A charged battery at the end will lose its charge if unused. Therefore, the battery4.us suggest that it may be necessary to recharge the battery after a storage period.

The milliamp hour (mAh) rating of the laptop battery replacement tend to be higher than your original Pavilion DV2000 battery. A higher mAh rating is indicative of a longer-term capacity higher () battery and will not cause any incompatibilities. A laptop battery in most cases, outperform the original by 30% to 50%.

Battery life depends on real-time energy demand by the team. For laptops, use the monitor, hard drive and other peripherals as a result an additional drain on the battery, effectively reducing the Inspiron 6400 battery run time. The total runtime of the battery is also heavily dependent on the design of equipment. To ensure maximum performance of the notebook battery, optimize the management functions of power equipment. Check your computer manual for further instructions.

This battery offers long life and consistently reliable performance you need to get the most out of your system. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.

Customer review :

Some reviewers complain that the battery sticks out, thus making case fitting difficult. This is a valid complaint, and Dell should definitely provide dimensions & a warning that the battery extends beyond the notebook (perhaps even a visual representation).

However, it does not mean that the product itself is bad! It's got 3 more cells than the standard Dell vostro 1700 battery...where else can they put them if the battery isn't enlarged! You're already lugging a monster-sized notebook computer - a battery that sticks out is a small sacrifice for someone who wants the extended run time!

The notebook battery sticks out from the notebook making it difficult to fit in a carrying case. I ordered the 9 cell when I ordered the computer. Now I am ordering a 6 cell to replace the 9 cell in order to get it to fit in my bag. Poor design if you ask me battery4.us.

I bought this product admittedly without reading carefully enough through the product description: I took myself to be buying an original Dell laptop battery. When it arrived, it did not fit quite perfectly into my computer; it took an unhappy amount of force to get it situated. My computer (an Inspiron 1520) did indeed recognize the battery without any problem. However, it does not seem to power the computer for as long as my original Dell battery did, which would last for almost 6 hours when it was new. Perhaps this is because I have not yet "trained" the battery. But after the first charge and deplete and recharge, my battery meter now tells me that the freshly charged battery is good for about 4 and a half hours. That's not quite as good as I was hoping.
